I would
like to visit Chendu as my tourist destination and that if I could choose to
stay for over 1 month as Chendu is really a fun place to be.
Since I
would need to think about my budget, I will have to then have to decide to stay
for 2 weeks at most at the Chendu.
My total
budget for the trip includes air fare will be S$3000.
My airfare
tickets will cost me S$680 and it is to and fro trip from Singapore to Chendu.
I will be
staying at Jing Jiang Inn Chendu Dongfeng Bridge which will cost me S$33.5 per
day, I will be staying there for at least 13 nights therefore the total cost
spend on accommodation will be S$435.50.
I am
intending to go on the last 2 weeks of December as the weather will be cold and
it is winter time. My intention of going there is to enjoy the cold without the
snow and to recall the good times that I had with my church mates at Chendu for
our mission trip in 2010.
I would
have at least S$1884.50 which is Reminbi ¥9422.50 to spend on food,
transportation and shopping.
This will
be my planner for my trip.
First of
all, my flight to Chendu will be a night trip there so I will only reach there
in the next morning.
Day 1: 2100
hrs flight to Chendu.
Day 2:
0900hrs reach Chendu. First stop will be going to City church which is near my
accommodation venue for a visit to my church mates. Then lunch will be at the
nearby egg noodle store. 1400hrs check in to Jing Jiang Inn Chendu Dongfeng
Bridge. At 1700 hrs head over to the nearby shopping mall which can be reach by
taking the bus transport. At 1830hrs, dinner at a buffet outlet. 2100hrs back
at hotel for a night rest.
Day 3:
1000hrs travelled to Shen Ai Zhi Jia, it is a mission field for city church to
take care of homeless children and to give these children a place of hope and
safety. My intention to go there will be more of a babysitting as my previous
did not give me a chance to play with the kids. 1700 hrs, I will head over to
the shopping mall again, and at 1900 hrs, dinner at a buffet outlet, by 2100
hrs back at hotel for a night rest.
Day 4: 1000
hrs travel to Wolong National Nature Reserve to see PANDAs… I have never seen
panda in my previous trip so it is a Must for me to visit the homeland of the
pandas. 1700 hrs I will head over to the shopping mall or nearby area for
dinner before heading back to the hotel for a night rest.
Day 5:
0900hrs travelled to JiuZhaigou, which is almost a day’s ride to the place, I
will reach there by night time so I will be staying at JiuZhaigou for at least
2 nights before heading back to my hotel back at Chendu. By the time I
travelled back to Chendu, it will be Day 7. I would say jiuzhaigou is a must
for me to go as when I was at Chendu last year, taking their public transport a
lot of their own people says that when we are at Chendu, it is best to go Jiuzhaigou
for a visit to take breathtaking photos and enchanting histories of it.
Day 7:
Reach Chendu by 1400 hrs. Then head over to the shopping malls to do a little
shopping spree and then dinner and then back at hotel by 2130hrs.
Day 8: 0900
hrs travelled to Huang Long Xi ancient town, to learn more about our Chinese
culture and the ancients building. 1800hrs back at Chendu, shopping malls. Do a
little shopping spree before heading for dinner and back at hotel 2130hrs. I
love history therefore since there is time and not constrain, I would like to
head over to the ancient town to visit and understand more about our culture.
Day 9: 0910
hrs travelled to Huang Long Scenic and Historic Interest area, by 1400hrs to
travel back to Chendu. Do shopping spree till 1930hrs and head for dinner back
at hotel by 2130hrs. Like what I have mentioned, I am a fan of history so
historic places is a must to visit but not temple. For some reason I do not
like historic temples.
Day 10:
Travel to Yong Mausoleum (Yong Ling) at 0900 hrs. Then travel to Zi gong salt
museum at 1200 hrs. Then head over to
shopping mall to do shopping at 1830 hrs, then dinner and back at hotel by
2130hrs. I love history therefore since there is time and not constrain, I
would like to head over to the mausoleum and understand it then travel to the
salt museum to visit and understand how salt is being made.
Day 11:
Head over to my friend’s university for a visit and learn more about his
country’s learning environment which will take from morning 1000hrs to 1930
hrs. Dinner together and back at hotel by 2130 hrs.
Day 12: Time
to do serious shopping, from 1100 hrs to 2000 hrs, dinner and go ATT (in
Singapore term KTV) before heading back to the hotel at 2am in the morning. :D
ATT was the last activity which my church mates and I did together so it is a
must to revisit the venue.
Day 13:
Exact same thing as Day 12.
Day 14:
spend the whole morning packing luggage and head over to the airport. Bye bye
Chendu.
Therefore
if you ask me if S$3000 is enough? I will tell you it is more than enough since
it is cheap. :D
